OUR STORY
As a Jersey boy, I was first introduced to southern barbecue when I went away to college in North Carolina. I was blown away. Not by just food. But also the whole culture. Backyard whole hog pig pickins with friends, hush puppies, collards, the variety of sauces, and the togetherness. When I relocated to Michigan, I felt like I lost that part of my life. So I decided to learn how to recreate it, and bring what I discovered down south to countless friend and family gatherings here in MI. Fast forward through 15 years and a tremendous amount of support from friends, I was able to open our first mobile operation in Frankfort, MI in 2024.
